My dusty body
Is heaven's light;
Angels are jealous
To watch my flight.

Cherubim envy
My purity;
Before my valour
All demons flee.



Nôr-e falak ást, in tan-e khâki-e mâ,
Rasgh-e malak âmad-ást châlâki-e mâ.

Ke rasgh barad fereshteh áz pâki-e mâ,
Ke bûghrizad div ze bibâki-e mâ.



Vocabulary

Nôr = Light
Falak = Heaven
Ást = Is
In = This
Tan = Body
Khâki = Dusty, here it refers to the phisical body.
Mâ = Our
Rasgh barad = To be Jealous
Malak = Angel
Âmad = Became. It is an abridged form of Amadeh,
Châlâki = Nimbleness, agility
Fereshteh = Angel
Áz = From, of
Pâki =Purity
Bûghrizad = To flee
Div = Demon
