Persian with RUMI

Ruba'ie #228

I am at war with the day,
So swift it hath passed away;
As swift as a torrent flows,
Or a wind o'er the plain blows.

To-night I will sit alone;
Eclipsed is the shining moon;
To-night, till returning day,
I will beat cup and tray.
