O Friend, in friendship we Thy faithful comrades
be;
Wherever Thou dost lay Thy foot, we are Thy clay.
Can it be law, indeed, in this our lovers' creed,
Through Thee to view all space, yet never to see Thy face?
Ay Doûst, be-doûstî
qarînîm tô râ,
har jâ ke qadam nahî zamînîm tô
râ.
Dar mazhab-e Âsheqî ravâ key bâshad,
Âlam tô bebînîm -û- na-bînîm
tô râ.
